Itinerary

  1. This tour takes place in the district of Ccorca, west of Cusco (45 minutes by car). The area holds a great variety of landscapes and is very rich in culture, as it was home to the Ccorca Man, possibly one of the first human settlements in the Cusco region, and the great Inca road to the coast passes through here. The tour begins with pick-up at your hotel, from where we drive to the viewpoint of the tutelary apu (sacred mountain) MAMA SIMONA. The bike descent starts above 4,000 m.a.s.l. on a quiet road that winds through small farming villages and past lakes that are home to wildlife, until we reach the Tecsecocha cliffs. After visiting this site we continue the adventure toward the Anta plains; the starting point is also where we will enjoy our box lunch, before descending along a spectacular trail with breathtaking views of the mountain range, valleys and snow-capped peaks until the vast Anta plains come into view, where the ride ends.
