Itinerary

1. Day 1 Arrival in Cusco

   ARRIVAL IN THE CITY OF CUSCO

   When you arrive at Cusco airport on your Lima – Cusco flight, our staff will be waiting to welcome you. The city of Cusco sits at 3,400 m.a.s.l., so we recommend drinking a natural coca-leaf tea to help you acclimatize and avoid altitude sickness. After pickup we will take you to your designated hotel, where you will stay for the duration of your visit to Cusco.

   The rest of the day is free, so we recommend resting, eating lightly and exploring the city of Cusco.

2. Day 2 Cusco City Tour

   CUSCO – CITY TOUR (afternoon, 2:00 pm)

   Today our staff will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the meeting point for the city tour, during which we will visit the following sites:

   • Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun)
   • Sacsayhuamán
   • Q'enqo
   • Puca Pucara
   • Tambomachay

3. Day 3 Sacred Valley VIP Full Day

   SACRED VALLEY VIP FULL DAY TOUR

   ITINERARY

   Starting point: Cusco - 2:30 pm

   End point: Cusco - 7:00 pm

   Activities: archaeology, culture and some light walking.

   After breakfast, our staff will pick you up at your hotel and take you to our transport bound for the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way we will enjoy beautiful landscapes, flora, fauna and impressive archaeological sites. The places we will visit in the Sacred Valley are:

   • Chinchero
   • Maras & Moray
   • Ollantaytambo
   • Pisac

   INCLUDES:

4. Day 4 Machu Picchu Full Day and Departure

   MACHU PICCHU CITADEL FULL DAY TOUR (4:00 am to 10:00 pm)

   Very early today, our staff will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the meeting point for our transport to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo (about 1 hour 30 minutes). Once at the station, we will board our train to the town of Aguas Calientes (about 1 hour 30 minutes). On arrival in Aguas Calientes, our staff will be waiting to give you the final details of the tour. According to your entry time to Machu Picchu, you will go to the Consettur bus station and take the bus up to the entrance gate of the Machu Picchu citadel, where your official tour guide and group will be waiting. You will enter the citadel and enjoy a guided tour of about 2 hours 30 minutes through the whole site. After the tour you will leave the citadel and take the Consettur bus back down. Back in Aguas Calientes you will have time to explore, have lunch and visit the hot springs (we recommend bringing a swimsuit). According to your return train time, you will go to the train station and take your train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting outside the station, calling you by name, to drive you back to the city of Cusco.
