Itinerary

1. Day 1 Arrival in Cusco and City Tour

   When you arrive at Cusco airport on your flight from Lima, our staff will be waiting to welcome you. Cusco lies at 3,400 m.a.s.l., so we recommend drinking a natural coca leaf tea to help you acclimatize and avoid altitude sickness. After picking you up, we will take you to your accommodation for your stay in Cusco. In the afternoon (2:00 p.m.) you will take the city tour, visiting:

   • Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun
   • Saqsayhuaman
   • Qenqo
   • Puka Pukara
   • Tambomachay

2. Day 2 VIP Sacred Valley Full Day Tour
   • Starting point: Cusco – 6:30 a.m.
   • End point: Cusco – 6:30 p.m.
   • Activities: archaeology, culture and some hiking

   After breakfast, our staff will pick you up at your hotel and take you by tourist transport to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way we will enjoy beautiful landscapes, flora, fauna and impressive archaeological sites. In the Sacred Valley we will visit:

   • Chinchero
   • Maras & Moray
   • Ollantaytambo
   • Pisaq – market

3. Day 3 Machu Picchu Full Day Tour

   Our staff will pick you up at your accommodation and take you by tourist transport to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo (about 1 hour 30 minutes). There you will take the train to Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu (about 1 hour 30 minutes). On arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the train station to give you the final instructions. According to your entry time to Machu Picchu, you will take the Consettur bus, a 30-minute ride up to the main entrance of Machu Picchu, where your guide will be waiting for you. Once inside, the guide will take you through the different areas of the citadel.

   After the tour you will leave the citadel and walk a few steps from the main gate to the bus stop to take the Consettur bus back down. Back in town you will have a free afternoon to have lunch and explore Aguas Calientes. According to your return train time, you will go to the Aguas Calientes train station and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name to drive you back to Cusco (about 1 hour 30 minutes). You will be dropped off at Plaza San Francisco, from where you will make your own way to your accommodation.

4. Day 4 Rainbow Mountain Full Day Tour – Cusco – Cusipata
   • Starting point: Cusco
   • End point: Cusco
   • Activities: culture, nature and hiking

   Our trip starts at 5:00 a.m. with a drive of about 2 hours to the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a good breakfast. We then continue through beautiful valleys, small canyons and impressive pre-Inca terraces to the community of Phulawasipata, about 1 more hour away.

   The adventure begins with an imposing view of Apu Ausangate. After an introduction by our guide, we start our hike to Rainbow Mountain. The climb is gradual and takes about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. Along the way we will see a variety of South American camelids such as alpacas and llamas, as well as birds, lakes, valleys, streams and snow-capped peaks.

   After walking about 4 kilometers we reach Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), a unique and magical place shaped by the whims of nature. After enjoying a quiet moment in contact with nature, we walk back to Phulawasipata, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata for a delicious buffet lunch. We then board our transport back to the city of Cusco.

5. Day 5 Free Day and Departure

   Today you will have a free day to visit the San Pedro Market. According to your flight time, we will pick you up at your hotel for your transfer to the airport.
