Itinerary

  1. We pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 9:00 am to begin the walking tour through the heart of the city. We start at the Plaza de Armas and continue on foot to Loreto Street, where you can admire Inca architecture and part of the palace of Huayna Cápac, known as Amarucancha in Inca times, as well as the Acllahuasi, the temple of the chosen virgins of the Sun. We then visit the Court of the Sun, known as the Qoricancha, where you will see the main Temple of the Sun. Next we visit Kusicancha, the house of the mother of the Inca Pachacútec, and then Hatunrumiyoc Street, where you can admire the palace of Inca Roca, built of green diorite, and the famous Twelve-Angled Stone, of great importance to the empire. Finally we visit the Street of the Seven Snakes and the Inca Museum. At the end of the tour your guide will take you back to your hotel.
