Itinerary

  1. DAY 1

In the morning, we will pick you up at your accommodation between approximately 6:00 and 6:30 am. We will begin the one-hour drive to the village of Socma, where we will have breakfast and start our hike. After about 45 minutes of walking uphill, we will reach the first point from which we can admire the waterfall. We will stop there for a moment to enjoy the view and take some photos. We will then continue about 30 minutes further uphill to reach the archaeological site of Raqaypata. After the guide's explanation of the site and some photos, we will begin the descent to the community of Socma, where we will have lunch. After lunch we will board our transport and head to Ñaupa Iglesia, a mystical place where the Incas performed their rituals. After visiting this archaeological site we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
