05:40 am Departure by tourist transport from the chosen meeting point toward the seaside resort of Paracas (approximately 4 hours). Box lunch (juice box + cookies).
10:00 am Arrival in Paracas. We will head to the El Chaco pier, where we will set off for the Ballestas Islands in modern speedboats and enjoy a wonderful tour of the BALLESTAS ISLANDS, located in Paracas Bay. Here you can admire this wonder of nature and its wild marine life, including sea lions, Humboldt penguins, flamingos and many other seabirds. The sea lions will probably swim right up to the boat, and you will see many penguins in the water. Thousands of seabirds fly among the islands, and you may even spot their nests on the rocks.
You will also see the Candelabra geoglyph, where the guide will explain the different theories about its origin (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes in total).
Those who prefer to stay on shore can enjoy the sun and sea breeze in this lovely resort, where you will find good restaurants serving delicious dishes.
Arrival in the city of Ica: lunch (on your own).
Excursion to Bodega Nietto, where the grape brandy famously known as pisco is produced. At the old winery Fundo Tres Esquinas we will show you the whole process of how Peruvian wine and pisco have been made by hand since 1856, guided by an experienced winery worker.
Here we will see antique pieces such as clay botijas, a copper still and a huarango-wood press, all still in use today.
After touring the winery, visitors are invited to taste its main products: wines, piscos, pisco creams, macerates and mistelas, accompanied by the lively toasts typical of the city of Ica.
Visit to CHOCOLATERÍA NOELIA, where we will sample the traditional chocoteja, alfajores, jams, artisanal cookies, filled mousse and more.
Excursion to the HUACACHINA OASIS, located just 5 km from the center of Ica. At this beautiful lagoon, visitors can enjoy the peaceful setting and stroll around the surroundings in search of great photos. After watching the sunset, we return to the city of Lima, arriving at about 10:00 pm.
