Itinerary

We will pick you up at 8:30 am from your hotel in Cusco, following all biosafety protocols. Our transport will take you south of Cusco to the village of Cusipata, a drive of about 1 hour 40 minutes along the Cusco–Sicuani highway. We will arrive at our destination, “Cusipata River Lodge,” where you will find all the facilities: restrooms, changing rooms, sauna and lockers. You will be provided with all the rafting equipment: helmet, life jacket, neoprene wetsuit and a waterproof jacket, all handled according to biosafety protocols.

The guides will then give you all the necessary information and we will start the river descent in self-bailing inflatable rafts for about 2 hours. The rapids on this section are Class III and III+, and a safety kayaker accompanies the group.

After rafting, you will return to “Cusipata River Lodge,” where you can take a hot shower and then enjoy a delicious lunch in our dining room: vegetable soup as a starter and chicken in sauce with rice as the main course (vegetarian lunch option available). The guides will then give you all the necessary information about the ZIP LINE, which consists of 2 cables 120 meters long each. Afterwards you will pack up your things and be back in the city of Cusco at approximately 5:00 pm.
